Amy didn't do justice to either her material or her audience.Thought I'd enjoy seeing/hearing her perform the hits/strong vocals; Instead, I got a sloppy performance from someone who seemed disinterested - I couldn't understand the lyrics or the spoken parts.Did she even know/care that she was being taped. Ugh.
I liked this alot. Amy was drinking the whole time.but that's to be expected. The sound is great, picture is clear, it's all good.
It's so refreshing to go from the DVD to her CD. This CD shows why Amy Winehouse is in so much trouble. Her talent is evident, but I would have been very disappointed if I would have paid to see her live. The DVD is very revealing and I found it very enjoyable and enlightening. If you are an Amy Winehouse fan this is a must.
It even includes a documentary on Amy with interviews of herself her father, and others. For anyone who is an Amy Winehouse fan this is definately something you'll want to add to your collection. This live performance is outstanding, I absolutely loved every minute of it. I would definately tell anyone who likes Amy or her music to purchase this. (And no, she is not spaced out on drugs through this, maybe alittle tipsy, but not enough to impede her singing) Definately add this to your DVD library.
lets ignore the fact that she is a mess of a human being.when it comes to art and music she is amazing. This is a hi-def version of the DVD already out in the US.and it of course looks better in hi-def but the big reason I ordered this UK import (which plays fine on my Sony player) is the bonus concert NOT included on the domestic DVD and it is worth it to me to pay a bit of a premium for the bonus content as well as the sonic and picture upgrade. recommended
